Patrick J. Roberts began practicing law with A.H.Cole, Jr. and in 1970 they, with Robert D. Haig, established the partnership of Cole, Haig and Roberts. In 1982, Patrick established a separate firm known as Roberts and Associates which was changed in 1993 to Roberts Law Firm. Today, the principal lawyer is Patrick J Roberts. The firm is presently engaged in the General Practice of Law including Criminal Law, Municipal Law, Public Finance, Probate, Real Estate, Wills, Guardianships,  Divorce, Custody, Family Law, Personal Injury, Appeals, and O.W.I. We also engage in criminal and civil trial practice in Cass, Howard, Grant, Wabash and Fulton Counties in addition to Miami County.

Patrick J. Roberts
	Pat was born and raised in Peru. He graduated from St. Charles Elementary and Peru High School and attended Indiana University following high school. He received his B.S. degree in 1963 from the Kelly School of Business and his law degree from the School of Law in 1966, then spent two years in the U.S. Army as an enlisted soldier and was awarded the Army Commendation Medal by the Secretary of the Army. He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court; U.S. Court of Appeals, 7th Circuit; the U.S. District Courts of Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana; the Supreme
Court of Indiana and all other Courts. In addition he is a registered civil and family mediator. His professional memberships include Indiana and American Bar Associations; National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers; and Indiana Municipal Lawyers Association. Over the past 35 years, he has represented the City of Peru and the Town of Converse as their municipal lawyer and the town of Bunker Hill Plan Commission. He served as City of Peru Utilities Attorney for 25 years.
